OnCore USA is currently seeking an Eyelet Toolmaker in Naugatuck, CT. For the Eyelet Toolmaker position, the company is seeking candidates that have experience with US Baird, Watebury Farrel or Mister progressive stamping presses 60 ton to 200 ton preferred.

Responsibilities of the Eyelet Toolmaker:

• Organizes and adjusts tooling in production equipment
• Performs maintenance on tooling. Utilizes tool room to sharpen or fabricate tooling as required
• Diagnoses machine failures and other mechanical problems. Takes necessary corrective repair actions in a timely manner
• Assists and instructs Machine Operators and Apprentices to maintain production
• Possible call for assistance to operate production equipment as required
• Updates spare tooling
• Maintains good housekeeping standards
• Follows all rules, regulations and work processes set forth by the company
• Maintains a safe working environment

Requirements of the Eyelet Toolmaker:

• 5-10 years related experience and/or training
• Successful completion of accredited apprenticeship program; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to complete routine production quality reports
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts
• Ability to solve practical problems and solve a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
