Responsible to maintain, repair, and assist in upgrades of highly automated robotic and non-robotic equipment. Including the following processes:
” Resistance welding of steel and aluminum
” Projection welding
” MIG welding
” Robotic dispensing applications of body sealant and adhesive
” Drawn arc stud welding
” Flow drill
” Various rivet assembly equipment
” Updating electrical prints, wiring and ladder diagrams, schematics and other technical literature.
” Diagnosing and repairing faulty control systems with multi-meter, oscilloscope, or other electrical testing equipment.
” Troubleshooting electrical, robotic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
” Modifying, writing, and/or troubleshooting robot programs.
• Minimum of a 2 year degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• PLC knowledge is a plus
